A very timely keynote address, what with Iron Man hitting the theaters in May. I was a fan of the cartoon show during the early 1990's.
Marvel has a deep set of characters, who have proved extremely profitably with the licensing of action figures, video games, etc.
I was interested to learn that the company plans on opening a super hero theme park in Dubai. http://news.sawf.org/Lifestyle/49964.aspx. Seems like a logical progression, considering that Disney took a similar path 40 years ago.
Here's some questions I would ask Cuneo if I were able to make the address. What sort of problems will Marvel face as it transitions from managing intangible assets to physical properties? At most you're limited to threequell movies for popular characters/teams, so how do keep them fresh and relevant 3-10 years after the series?
