Peter is the founder and CEO of The Geek Factory, Inc a boutique Marketing and PR Strategy firm located in New York City, with clients worldwide. He is perhaps best known for founding Help A Reporter Out, (HARO) which in under a year has become the de-facto standard for thousands of journalists looking for sources on deadline. Here's a great article on Peter from the New York Observer that should give you a pretty good preview of what to expect to hear from him on October 8.
You can register just for the luncheon here. The fee for RAMA and PRSA members is $35 each and non-members is $45. We want to thank Roberts Wesleyan College of Business for being our luncheon sponsor for this event.
There will also be a Haro Networking Event later that day at Murphy’s Law Irish Pub located on the corner of East Ave. & Alexander St. starting around 5pm where PRSA, RAMA, eBA members are all invited to attend and meet Peter Shankman. Those that attend the conference or the luncheon can attend this event for free, all others are asked to pay a $10 fee. You can register here if you'd only like to attend this networking event.
For more information on the entire conference and to register you can visit www.prsarochester.org/conference.
