AMA Rochester Hosts In-Person Pinnacle Awards Event; Announces 2021 Winners & Marketer of the Year
Rochester, NY (June 24, 2021) – The Rochester Chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA Rochester) held its annual Pinnacle Awards live and in-person on June 23rd. The event was held at Comedy@the Carlson.
The Pinnacle Awards is an annual event hosted by AMA Rochester where local marketers are recognized for their program strategy, tactics, creative – and importantly results. This year, nearly 100 entries were submitted, reviewed, scored and ranked by the AMA Columbus chapter.
Local Rochester media veteran Norma Holland served as the Pinnacle Awards event host and announced winners in 24 categories, including the coveted Marketer of the Year Award.
The 2021 Marketer of the Year Award winners honoring outstanding overall strategy, creative and results are:
- For Profit: First American Equipment Finance
- Not-for-Profit: Villa of Hope
In addition to the many tactical category winners and the Marketer of the Year, 3 winners were announced for the 2021 Resiliency Award. Added last year, this category recognizes the extraordinary efforts taken by marketing professionals as they rose to meet the many challenges presented by COVID-19. The Resiliency Award winners are:
- For Profit: Coast Professional, Inc. for their contact tracing campaign. The company saw an opportunity to employ their strategic call center services to assist state and local governments in helping to curtail the spread of COVID-19 and to support the communities in which they work and live.
- For Profit: First American Equipment Finance developed a Connecting C-Levels campaign to connect peers in the healthcare industry directly to discuss the many challenges faced during the pandemic via virtual roundtable series.
- Not-for-Profit: McDougall Communications partnered with the Center for Ocular Research & Education to get the word out about contact lenses and COVID-19, along with comprehensive guidance for wearers.
